Job Description

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling industrial automation products and solutions to customers in the manufacturing sector. The role involves lead generation, customer engagement, techno-commercial proposal preparation, negotiation, and order closure, while achieving assigned sales targets.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Experienced in handling sales in Automation with strong knowledge of Control Systems such as PLC, HMI, SCADA, Servo, Stepper Drives & Control Panels.
  • Promote and sell industrial automation products and solutions across assigned territories.
  • Generate new leads, manage inquiries, and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
  • Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers, negotiate terms, and close sales.
  • Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, and site visits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Panel Builders, System Integrators, Channel Partners, and End Users.
  • Ensure compliance with internal sales processes, approvals, and documentation.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team performance.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and service teams for smooth order execution.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications Required
  • Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 1–4 years of relevant experience in industrial automation sales.
  • Strong technical understanding with good commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused, and willing to travel for field sales activities.

Senior Sales Engineer

Job Description

The Senior Sales Engineer will drive sales of Automation products and solutions by managing key accounts, developing new business, and delivering techno-commercial solutions to customers. The role requires strong technical expertise in industrial automation and proven experience in B2B Automation sales.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow sales for automation products and solutions including PLC, HMI, SCADA, Servo, Stepper Drives, VFDs, and Control Panels.
  • Handle lead generation, customer inquiries, product selection, techno-commercial offer preparation, negotiation, and order closure.
  • Develop and manage key accounts, ensuring long-term customer relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive business through OEMs, System Integrators, Channel Partners, Panel Builders, and End Users.
  • Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, and plant/site visits.
  • Ensure adherence to internal sales processes, pricing approvals, and documentation.
