Baumer Pressure Transmitter

The Baumer flush diaphragm pressure transmitter uses a front-flush stainless diaphragm for media that would block a standard pressure port. RB Automation supplies the Baumer flush diaphragm range in India alongside the economic, intrinsically safe and hygienic series.

Each Baumer family is built for a different duty, and the measuring ranges differ widely between them. The Economic series covers general air and gas. The intrinsically safe model is for hazardous process areas. The flush diaphragm and hygienic models measure absolute pressure, relative pressure and vacuum, and both are programmed with the Baumer FlexProgrammer 9701.

• Economic series: relative pressure and vacuum from -1 to 200 bar, with a robust ceramic measuring cell and a compact stainless steel housing.
• Intrinsically safe: -1 to 600 bar, intrinsically safe version to LCIE 02 ATEX 6133X, optional Bureau Veritas Marine approval.
• Flush diaphragm: -1 to 400 bar, cavity-free connection in G 1/2, G 3/4, G 1 or 1/2 NPT, with optional relay outputs.
• Hygienic: -1 to 40 bar, 3-A, FDA and EHEDG compliant, flush connection with Ra ≤ 0.8.
• Cleaning: the hygienic model withstands CIP cleaning and SIP up to 150 °C.

The Economic series suits pneumatic, HVAC, factory automation, energy and agriculture vehicle applications. The intrinsically safe model is used in chemical, energy, shipbuilding and industrial gas plants. The flush diaphragm model handles paint, pulp and paper and refrigeration duties. The hygienic model serves food, beverage, biotechnology and pharmaceutical lines.
