Digital Display DS series

The DS series is a digital display stepper servo drive supplied in India by RB Automation, built on a 32-bit DSP with vector control and closed loop encoder feedback. The on-board display sets output current, microstepping and alarm limits without a PC.

The DS series comes from Rtelligent and sits in the stepper servo drive range. As a closed loop drive, it reads the motor encoder and corrects position while the motor runs, so steps are not lost under load. What sets it apart is the front panel. Operators can read the motor running status on the display and check or change drive parameters at the machine. When a laptop is needed for setup, the drive connects through its Micro USB port.
