Oil automation

Oil Automation: FAQs

Positive displacement meters, such as oval gear and trigear flow meters, suit diesel, lubricating oil and other viscous liquids. Electromagnetic flow meters do not suit oil, because they need a conductive liquid.

A batch controller counts the flow meter's pulses and closes the valve when the set quantity has passed, so each fill is the same. It also keeps a running total.

Yes. We supply fuel consumption systems that measure the fuel an engine, boiler or burner actually uses.

Yes. Flow meters and totalisers can send their readings to a PLC, which shows them on an HMI or passes them to a SCADA system.
