Diamond cutting and laser machines use servo systems for fast, precise axes and stepper systems for lighter positioning axes. RB Automation supplies Rtelligent AC servo drives and motors, integrated low-voltage servo motors and open-loop, closed-loop and multi-axis stepper systems.

Use a servo for fast axes that must hold position under changing loads. A closed-loop stepper is a lower-cost choice for slower positioning axes. Share the load, speed and resolution you need and we will recommend one.

It is one driver unit that runs two or three stepper motors, such as the Rtelligent R42X2, R60X2 and R60X3. It saves panel space and wiring on machines with several small axes.
