Cup Cone Filling Machine

Fills ice cream cups and cones on an indexing turret. A servo drives the dosing, an encoder tracks the turret, and a proximity sensor confirms each position.

Pouch Packaging Machine

Forms, fills and seals pouches from film. A servo pulls the film to the print mark, which a photoelectric sensor detects, and an AC drive runs the conveyor.

Auger Filling Machine

Doses powder with an auger. A servo or stepper motor turns the auger by a set number of turns for each fill, and sensors detect the container and the label gap.

Most food packaging machines use a PLC and HMI for control, servo systems for the film pull, fill and cut axes, AC drives for conveyors, and photoelectric or fiber optic sensors to find the print mark. RB Automation supplies all of these.

Use a servo system when fill speed and weight accuracy matter most. A stepper system is a lower-cost choice for slower fillers with a light auger. Share the auger size, fill weight and packs per minute and we will recommend a match.

A photoelectric or fiber optic sensor reads the print mark on the film, so the machine cuts each pouch in the same place.

Yes. We supply rotary encoders that track the turret or film position, so the PLC knows where each cup or pack is.
